I wish someone on here would give a bigger breakdown not just of what these tariffs and other policies are going to do to us ( not that I don't understand why the focus is on what we've brought upon ourselves through inattention and incredulousness) but the consequences these actions are already causing in countries that aren't our enemies. Camboda for example:

That's a FANTASTIC idea! I'll look into it and see if I can answer that question for you.

I'd appreciate that so much. I spent a LONG time querying different versions of similar questions and it was still mostly articles about the impact on American consumers, even if the article started by talking about factories closing or moving to other countries. It's bugging me that a country like Cambodia with whom we've never been at war but have harmed nonetheless is taking the biggest hit due to Trump's inability to understand the difference between trade deficits and actual real imbalances that would justify these tariffs (imbalances that just don't exist). These garment workers make so much of what we wear and get paid very little but absolutely rely on these jobs. They deserve higher wages and better working conditions. These tariffs at best will cause the opposite because capitalism always works that way. At worst the factories will move. Then what happens?

Economists don’t talk enough about how a Communist country is kicking our ass at Capitalism.

I think the GFC discredited capitalism better than anything could, so much so that we were forced to nationalize the banking industry.

You do a good job specifying that the market is not the real economy. It’s very important that we don’t take cheap shots at Trump for tanking the market (destroying retirees savings). It sets the stage for wealth/capital gains taxes becoming politically unpopular, which might have similar effects.

Keep emphasizing Social Security, and the fact that having savings tied to the market causes workers to undermine their interests by voting for lower wages, deregulation, and corporate welfare, all of which contribute to higher stock prices.

Hilarious. Trump discredits capitalism, and you discredit socialism. LOL.

Why does a socialist like you eagerly fellate religio-fascist Islamists like Hamas and the Houtis? Is socialism pro-rape and pro-slavery now, or just you?

And behold a perfect example of what i am talking about. Look at the rot in the progressive movement. Love the way some of you y'all are moving ever closer and closer to just posting The JJJOOOOSSS!!! The JJJOOOOSSS!!!

Apparently this retarded asshole thinks there is something dubious or fraudulent or false flag in opposing religious fascism, and that all good progressives should support Hamas. It's absurd.

Hilarious. I am sure it does, to you and every other retarded asshole that gives socialism a bad name.

Curious what @Joe Wrote "liked" about your comment implying that you have be a duplicitous lying jew or Israeli to be against religious fascism, or rape and slavery.

So I’m not a writing coach or literary critic or really qualified in any way to give any kind of writing advice, but I think if your intention is persuasion, you should maybe try a different approach to writing. ChatGPT can be really helpful here honestly.

Cool. Cool. So when you provided the Mossad comment, what did you mean? LOL.

Little advice for you too KLD: You can be retarded, or you can be arrogant, but don't do both at the same time. That's just makes you pathetic (and hilarious).

Hey ymg, good work on your hate-algorithm! "Look mommy, what I assembled with your shredded Fox memes!" You did remember to bundle: 1. scorn 2. contempt. 3. minimizing and sensationalism! Next: meaning. insight. syntax. engaging with other people. Good luck!!! Don't panic - - you can do it!!! You CAN bootstrap intelligence, humility, and humanity.
