In a midterm referendum, Illinois voters amended the State Constitution guaranteeing workers the right to unionize and outlawing union-busting “right-to-work” laws.
I was fired last month, meaning I lost my health insurance. I detailed my foray into the American health insurance market, and how it is a system designed to reduce worker power for the benefit of Capitalists.
Last month the world’s richest man purchased America’s customer complaint board (Twitter) under the guise of “promoting free speech.” To no one’s surprise, Musk doesn’t actually care about free speech, as he funded the acquisition with money from repressive regimes and has a long history of silencing critics.
Book Recommendation
This month I read The Man in the High Castle, by Philip K. Dick. Written in the 1962, it tells the alternative history of if the Axis won WWII. You might be familiar with the TV show of the same name, which is also pretty good.

Assorted Nonsense
I’ve written a lot on the internet, most of it serious and well-researched. But wouldn’t you know it, the dumbest thing I ever created went viral.
Here’s a perfect synopsis of Conservative Tough Guy Pundits.
I’m making TikToks now, and this one on the absurdity of how Musk bought Twitter is approaching 13k views. Check it out and give me a follow.
