Let’s make sure they are held to accountability. We need to get every single member of the current administration, along with the entire Biden administration, charged under 18 U.S. Code § 1091, the statute that incorporates the Genocide Convention into US criminal law. Members of these administrations shouldn't go a single day without having this statute in their faces, up front and center, at every protest, at every meeting, press conference, briefing, and trips home and abroad. Let them consider what is looming. They should have visions of prison all the days of their lives, and echos of those cell doors slamming shut.
And beyond, the administration, the complicit press is also subject to this law.
Call on Pope Leo XIV to do whatever it takes to save Gaza and stop the bombing, and end the starvation. Let him go to Gaza and stand with the suffering people who are being massacred by Israel and the Western posers. He can go to Gaza right now, and insist aid be allowed in.

This is one of the best pieces in the genocide I’ve read. It is, indeed, horrifying to see these self-serving pundits and politicians frantic 11th hour posturing solely in the service of protecting their perceived legacy. They belong on the long list of criminals hopefully rounded up for the next Nuremberg trials-front of the list as leaders have the responsibility to lead. Not in the direction the political wind is blowing but on a course dictated by true moral clarity which they sorely lack. This performative bullshit is an insult to everyone who has bravely spoken up and another bullet in the hearts of the Palestinian People. In the past year and a half, I've just quietly agreed with anti-zionists, and didn't really criticize Israel apologists, as I thought they were too annoying and delusional to talk to.
I've found the past 2 weeks exceptionally disturbing, and decided to join JFREJ and become more active on this issue. Maybe I'm at fault too, but it's important that we continue to criticize, and hold the people who caused it accountable.
Bari Weiss is a close second for "most disgusting person mentioned in this article," defending Elon's Nazi salute because he visited Israel a few times, and still refuses to admit that she was wrong for mercilessly defending war crimes.
Her "Boy Who Cried Wolf" argument is classic projection. When she calls any criticism of Israel antisemitism, it completely cheapens actual Jewish hatred (like Nazi salutes, Great Replacement, Squirrel Hill shooting, etc.), and potentially adds to it if the only Jews one knows are people like her, Daniella Weiss, and other Likud supporters.

Democrats were supposed to be better than Republicans but we find ourselves only with corporate centrists - & they all want to do business with Israel.
