I’ll get right to it. I’ve got 2 announcements:
I’m launching a series on Dave Rubin’s new book Don’t Burn this Country: Surviving and Thriving in Our Woke Dystopia. As you can tell from the title, it’ll probably be filled with the classic right-wing identity politics our grandparents have come to know and love. We’re talking #cancelculture, we’re talking “Woke Mob,” we’re talking Mens’ Rights Activism. I’m going to have a blast debunking and roasting this book over the next couple of months (think of it as a long-running Chapo reading series), and I hope you’ll join me!
My 2nd announcement is that this series is going to be for paying subscribers. I started this publication because I love to write and explore leftist ideas, and offering paid posts will help me continue to do just that. But don’t think this means all of JoeWrote is going behind a paywall. Most of my writing will stay freely available, while the more “fun” pieces will be subscriber exclusive. To give an example of what this will look like, the aforementioned series roasting Dave Rubin’s “book” will be for subscribers, while an upcoming look into the Venezuelan economy will be free for all.
Overall, I want people to read and enjoy my writing. (Without you, I’m just a guy screaming into the void.) So if the financial commitment ($5/ month) is too much but you’d enjoy my writing, reach out to me on Twitter and we can work something out.
I’ll be back soon with Part 0 of the Dave Rubin series, explaining who Dave is, what his politics are, and how he went from progressive commentator to Glen Beck employee.
In closing, I want to thank YOU, whether you choose to subscribe or not. I’m thrilled so many people read my writing. I look forward to creating more content (both paid and free) that is worthy of your inbox.
Cheers! Joe
Hell yeah, Joe! This paid series lighting into Rubin sounds awesome. Congrats on all these exciting developments.
