Obama tore up the Whistle Blower protection laws. He went after everybody and restricted access to government documents. He started the dirty war on Syria and launched the coup in Ukraine. He pushed NATO into Georgia and other countries. He was a hawk and a phoney.
You call him a pro labor president when he literally breaks strikes and refuses to raise the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. An amount no one can live off of. Your words are not serious.
“Better than expected on labor”. “Showed his union sympathies”. Thats what you lead with and it certainly sounds like pro-labor, in fact the whole paragraph sounds like pro labor when the only reason he walked that picket line was because he was trying to shore up auto workers votes. He had no problem at all telling the railroad strikers they don’t get sick leave because, checks notes, the holidays were coming
Maybe you should read your article in the whole. You sound like a Biden apologist. I didn’t like him, but he was the most progressive, he was sympathetic to unions, he walked a picket line. That’s all favorable. He’s a genocidal piece of shit is what he is and no friend to the working man. He’s never done a days labor in his life, he’s been at the public trough for over 50 years. And none of his family does labor either. He doesn’t represent the working class and he never has.
Having a friendly NLRB was helpful to labor organizers. I wouldn't call him pro-labor either, but this aspect was not actively hostile, at least - like it will be under Trump.
Won what? He didn't actually run for president. Sanders was shut down and Biden's people said yes to the DNC as long as no one learns of his dementia. Remember his handlers took nearly a year to say he was running for president?
The reason he was exposed in an unusually scheduled debate is because his handlers didn't want to leave office. So they had to show everybody that what people were saying to try to alert the voters/public to was true, he was mentally incompetent. The DNC/Oligarchy wanted him out and Harris in in a blatantly undemocratic maneuver.
He would not have gotten the votes if the Oligarchy had allowed Sanders to continue. Sanders power to encourage voters was antithetical to their decades long process of creating voter apathy. The Oligarchy knew he wouldn't be able to effect change while President, (they have all of Congress after all), that wasn't what scared them, he was making the new large number of young voters feel empowered and hopeful.

Yea, he was a really bad President.
Nice job Joe.
Thanks!

I didn't call him "pro labor." I said he did good things for labor while acknowledging the faults you speak of. But I never said he was "pro labor."

I led by saying I think he's a terrible president. I'm unsure how that's viewed as me championing him.

The First thing he or his handlers did was make it Illegal for Railroad workers to strike and they were striking for a good god damn reason.
Bybrain was just another Reagan. All presidents at least since Reagan have been hardcore Neoliberals.
Bybrain's legislative history tells his loyalty to Neoliberism.

He also busted the rail strike and gave federal contracts to union busters like Amazon, all while not raising the minimum wage
Trump signed the deal to withdraw from Afghanistan. Biden merely implemented it.
He did, but Trump had no intention of leaving. His most recent RNC speech advocated for re-invading Afghanistan, specifically to bomb China.
Biden could have won, but he just was too old and he could not accept or admit it.
